BOUNTY KILLER

(Silver Chem X Grateful Dawg)

We hit a (Super Silver Haze X Chem Dog) clone with Grateful Dawg pollen. The goal was to increase the yield of the Grateful Dawg while speeding up the harvest time of the Silver Chem.

These plants may take up to 70 days to finish but the yields are massive. Bounty Killer will stretch in flower. Be prepared for tall plants.

Bounty Killer has recently tested at 24% THC by MCR LABS.

Available in feminized seeds only.

BK1 is trimmed and in a jar. I have to say it was the easiest plant to trim ever! My drying method is to simply trim off the fan leaves and hang the whole plant at 60 degrees and 50% humidity. Once most of the moisture is out of the stems, I wrap a bag around the entire plant and keep it sealed for another 2 weeks or so checking it daily. Once it has reached the point I want, I dry trim and then cure in glass. The calyx to leaf ratio is very high on BK and there is just not much to trim off! The "open" plant structure also gives solid buds all the way down so no "popcorn" or "larf" to deal with, just dense, sticky, FAT solid nuggets of incredible quality. Had a little taste in the vaporizer last night and she is sweet and potent! Can't wait to see what a good cure does and I am also looking forward to seeing the lab results. Should be well over 20% thc.
The image above was BK3 and she and #2 are hanging now. #3 is looking like the keeper of the group for plant structure and yield but all 3 were very similar.

Lab tests are back and Bounty Killer came back at 20%THC and 0.3%cbd. I don't hold a lot of faith in the lab testing as there seems to be a huge discrepancy between each lab but between the test results and personal
sampling, it gives you something to go by when comparing strains.

I was out of room in the flower tent so this Bounty Killer got way too lanky stuffed in the back of the veg tent for too long. I couldn't bare to toss it so I cut the main top out of it and threw it into a flower tent when a space opened up. I really wasn't expecting it to do much after the rough start it had but what a surprise! Going to be some fine flowers right around the first of the year.

Wow, you should mistreat them more often...

This one was quite a surprise. I can't stand it when a plant gets mistreated but it's nice to know that some can take it and still perform admirably. The BK is a beast for sure. I can't wait to see how the Heart of Gold and Capleton do in comparison. They are going into 5L pots today after spending a couple of weeks in keg cups getting their roots developed.

Your plants look great! Thanks for getting the BK tested! 20% is impressive. I do agree with the labs being slightly unreliable. Do you have any more go my stuff to grow?

I got one Capleton seed to germinate a couple of weeks ago and just transplanted it into a 5L pot yesterday. I also was able to get three Heart of Gold to germinate after the first few did not. They are growing nicely and I should be transplanting them next week. I am anxious to see how they turn out!

No seeds left of BK? I think I have some extras if you need some!
